Candidate petitions and forms for the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election will be available to interested persons beginning Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Candidate packets may be picked up during normal office hours at Minonk City Hall, 670 Chestnut Street.
Candidate petitions may be circulated beginning August 20, 2024. Filing dates for candidates seeking election at the Consolidated Election on April 1, 2025, are November 12 – 18, 2024, at Minonk City Hall during normal office hours.
PLEASE NOTE: The Statement of Economic Interest form must be filed with the Woodford County Clerk at 115 N Main Street in Eureka, IL, and the receipt must be filed with the Minonk City Clerk with the other election papers.
The following elected seats will be open for election at the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election:
Mayor – 4-year term
Clerk – 4-year term
Alderperson Ward 1 – 4-year term
Alderperson Ward 2 – 4-year term
Alderperson Ward 2 – unexpired 2-year term
Alderperson Ward 3 – 4-year term
Alderperson Ward 3 – unexpired 2-year term
