Residents of Minonk, the Water Treatment plant R/O system is back up and running so any issues you may have noticed with it tasting different will be improving. I would also like to communicate the City takes water quality and the maintenance of the systems very seriously. With that being said, from time to time there will be breakdowns just due to the complexity and age of the systems. In the last two years, the City has invested almost two million dollars in sewer and water plant upgrades and will continue to investment in these two systems going forward to reduce/eliminate downtime.
