The City of Minonk is advising all residents not to dispose “flushable wipes, baby wipes, sanitizing wipes, paper towels” of any kind down their toilets.

No matter what the packaging states, these items are not safe for our sewer system and will cause blockages to pipes that will become costly plumbing repairs to homeowners. Additionally, do not pour cooking grease down the drain, as this also causes blockages.
